Journal Entry About Blogging
From this morning's journal entry: Strangely, my blog helps me organize my thinking about myself and my posture/relationship with the world. I think it helps me solidify a vision of what I want my life to "look like". (basically that I want to be fit and to have my place and affairs in order; and then to just play! 😀) I retired to play; like when I was a kid!

I rewrote my previous blog post twice
I love to write. Decades after I learned to read, it still amazes me that the written word can cross miles and millenia to transmit a writer’s thoughts to his or her readers. In high school, a series of excellent teachers taught me that writing is an expression of thinking, so that if you’re having […]

Getting My Vox Off
My adventures in blogging at Vox have come to an end, and now I'm finding it painful to extract my entries using the Atom API they barely document.

Archival issues
I have been writing a special Tuesday newsletter for paid subscribers for five years now, which means there’s a bunch of really good stuff just kind of hiding in the archives over there. I’ve tagged a lot of of it on the newsletter homepage in categories like “notebooks,” “mixtapes,” “tutorials,” “zines,” “typewriter interviews,” etc. But […]
