Mõdriku is a village in Vinni Parish in Lääne-Viru County , northeastern Estonia. It is the location of Mõdriku Manor, a house that was first mentioned in 1470, and belonged to several Baltic-German families, including the family of the Russian general and explorer Alexander von Kaulbars . His ancestor R. A. von Kaulbars, reputedly a great patriot, put up the column commemorating the French invasion of Russia in 1812 that is still visible in the manor park.
