Product design with AI: “AI sucks” is the dip where most people give up

TLDR: I hear some people say “AI sucks” after one bad result and others say “’It’s easy just use AI” for everything, and I think both expect a magic button. The bad result is often the dip: the moment before you’ve learned to work with it, not proof that it doesn’t work. “AI sucks,” or “just use AI” I hear it a lot. Someone tries AI once or twice, it doesn’t give them what they wanted, and the verdict comes quickly. ‘This sucks.’ I hear the opposite just as often. ‘You can just get AI to do it’, for almost anything.
